John 10:10

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

I Peter 5:8

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

I John 3:8

The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

Devil is not a misunderstood person or someone seeking God's love. He is not looking for redemption or thinks good things about you or want what is best for you. He doesn't care for you and does not have your best interests at heart. He is not the good guy. He is not the nice guy next door.

Be careful because the devil disguises himself so that you will never know it's him tempting you into doing something that seems alright in the world but is disapproved by God.

John 8:31-32

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Never fall into this trap that is being packaged to you. Weigh it with the word of God and ask God what He thinks to lead a life that is pleasing in His sight. We will make mistakes and may not realize we are doing it hence it is important to read the word of God , not only read but study it and abide in it and it will lead you to the truth.

Dear Father,

We pray that we would abide in your word which will lead us to the truth and help us to navigate the world. We pray that the Holy Spirit would guide us and counsel us to make the right decision. Help us to understand devil's schemes and do good , seek peace and pursue it.
